Job Vacancy: AIRCRAFT SIMULATION ENGINEER
Our client, a major aircraft manufacturer are looking for an Aircraft Simulator on ongoing contract basis.
LOCATION: BROUGHTON, CHESTER, NORTHWEST, NORTH WALES
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £25-28 PER HOUR
COMPANY INFORMATION:
Our client is the world's largest airliner, with the UK site responsible for wing, landing gear and fuel systems design. The requirement is on a contract basis at the Broughton site.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING
Be a Catia V5 competent user.
Must have good working knowledge with mechanical design, shape design and DMU workbenches.
Competent user of Delmia V5 (DPM, Device Builder).
Must be proficient in using MS Office suite (Excel, word, PowerPoint etc).
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
Knowledge of Airbus products, methods and processes.
Ability to present findings to customers.
Capable of interacting with the project team, tooling team, planning team etc.
Ability to promote the use of simulation to the project team.
ROLE INFORMATION:
Perform 3D simulations using Catia / Delmia V5 of assembly processes and manufacturing operations.
Therefore you must have good previous working knowledge of using the toolset.
Also be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Have the ability to read and interpret written manufacturing process instructions.
