DATS Engineering is working with a leading engineering services provider to recruit experienced Project Managers to support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects across the UK.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of diverse infrastructure projects, ensuring they’re delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. You’ll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, manage commercial and technical aspects, and act as a key point of contact for clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading project delivery and driving successful outcomes.
- Overseeing commercial, technical, and quality performance.
- Monitoring programmes and progress, spotting risks early.
- Managing contracts, claims, and time extensions.
- Supporting design integration and attending review meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with CDM, SHE, and quality standards.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- This role requires flexibility to travel across the UK.
About You
We’re looking for people with proven project management experience in engineering and infrastructure who enjoy working collaboratively and solving challenges.
Essential qualifications & skills:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Project Management.
- Background in electrical/electronic engineering (HNC, ONC, or City & Guilds).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing design, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Desirable experience:
- NEC4 Project Management accreditation.
- Primavera P6 scheduling knowledge.
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations.
- Experience in low and high-voltage electrical systems.
